On the left is a formal uniform of a Lieutenant with the P.E.I.
Highlanders during World War II. The leather pouch slung over his
shoulder is a holster, and the pants-- if you look closely-- display
the green and black checks of the Black Watch tartan. On the right
is the uniform of WAC Lois Brown (nee Wall) of Saint John, New Brunswick.
She worked as a switchboard operator in a gun operation room, tracking
airplanes and relaying information to the proper posts.
