A 1913 souvenir calendar from Kensington. The calendar accurately portrays
the rail station as one of the central symbols of the community.
The image at the bottom depicts the crossing of the Northumberland Strait
by iceboat. These iceboats featured steel runners so that they could be pushed
over the stretches of ice between open water, and were usually pushed by the
passengers themselves.
