Roy Reeves, who hauled coal for Schurman's until the 1950s. At Schurman's,
the horse and driver would be weighed on a platform on the way in.
Then, after the cart was loaded with coal, the team would be weighed
again on the way out. After subtracting the two weights, the inventory men knew
how much coal Reeves was hauling.
