TURNIP SOWER used for sowing turnip and other small seeds. The wheel marker made a mark in the soil for seeds to fall into. The seeds were placed in a compartment that could be adjusted according to the size of seed to be sown. The chain would drag along the ground and cover up the seeds as they were sown.
