P.E.I. Railway Ledger. For such a small province, P.E.I. had an inordinate amount of railway activity. In fact, there are 147 miles of track, even though the whole Island is only 120 miles long! While the P.E.I. Railway ran into financial troubles, the Kensington Station itself was a steady money-maker throughout its operation, thanks in no small part to the endless carloads of produce and livestock moving out from this busy agricultural district.
