The moving of the diesel locomotive 1762, which found its final resting place in Kensington. It was being moved from Summerside to Kensington
on abandoned rail lines. The main obstacle was encountered at New Annan, where a new road upgrade had removed the track completely!
But where there's a will, there's a way. Here, the way to get the train
across was to set up a portable track system bridging the pavement.
And here comes 1762, as onlookers hold their breath.
