Power lines felled by an ice storm in the winter of 1956, which left Kensington without electrical power for two weeks. The building in the foreground (right) is Rexall's drugstore, which housed an undertaker's parlour on the second floor. Coffins were lifted through a window on the upper floor by means of a lift! (Historical Society).
