Kensington native Michael Kennedy returned to Prince Edward Island in July of 1998 to take part in a film and television camp held every summer at the Kensington Intermediate-Senior High School. Kennedy, who has directed several episodes of Emily of New Moon, treated the acting students to a tour of the Emily sets. The one-week course was designed to give Island children a chance to see what is involved behind the scenes of the movie industry.
