Pottery has become a popular craft on Prince Edward Island. North Shore Pottery in Malpeque, is owned by Friedrich Hermann. The establishment has pottery, sculptures and decorative art pieces of both ironware (which is Island clay dug by the potter and was named by him for its distinctive black iron appearance) and stoneware.
