Stompin’ Tom Connors has always been a fan favourite on Prince Edward Island. Islanders have adopted Stompin’ Tom as one of their own since he spent a few years in foster care as a child at Skinner’s Pond, Prince Edward Island. One of his most famous songs, “Bud the Spud,” is an Island favourite since the lyrics relay the life of an Island Potato Truck Driver.
