Donald MacKenzie's store and egg-grading station, which he took over from Russell Champion in 1933. The gasoline standards in front worked in such a way that you could see the gas level dropping as you pumped. With the price per liter as high as it is today, it is no wonder the pumps no longer have this feature. (Historical Society)
