The Town of Kensington’s Harvest Festival is a six day community festival that takes place from August 15-20, 2014, and for 2014, the organizing committee has chosen the theme “Celebrating 100 Years,” and are planning to take a historical approach to the festival. As such, the vendors that typically set up around the perimeter of the Community Gardens Complex will be modified to an old fashioned Farmer’s Market theme, instead of traditional trade show booths. They hope to include a wide array of vendors, from artisans and artists to farmers and food producers, from jam makers to jewellery makers and everything in between. Vendors are encouraged to embrace the old fashioned Farmers Market theme and plan their booths accordingly.
The hours of operation for the booths will be:
The Harvest Festival Committee is really excited about welcoming new vendors to this year’s event, and plan to make the Community Gardens Complex look and feel like an old fashioned harvest festival and market. It is our sincere hope that the public will take advantage of this opportunity to shop local during the festival.
