Municipal By-Election Results


The Town of Kensington concluded their Council By-Election voting today, after a large turnout in the Advance Poll on Saturday, May 24th.
 
Mayor Jeff Spencer is pleased to announce that Shawn McCarvill was successful in securing 174 of 331 votes cast to edge out Rowan Caseley who finished with 157 votes.
 
The Mayor would like to thank both candidates for putting their names forward in the name of democracy.
 
“The quality of the candidates was more than evident in the voter turnout, ensuring that our Town would have another quality individual represent the residents of our Town. I very much look forward to welcoming Shawn McCarvill to Town Council and to continuing the strong work our team have in progress.”
