Notice of Public Meeting
Take notice that, pursuant to the Planning Act and the Town of Kensington’s Zoning and Subdivision Control (Development) Bylaw, a Public Meeting will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the Kensington Town Hall, 55 Victoria Street East, Town of Kensington.
The purpose of the meeting is to allow residents and other interested persons an opportunity to make representation concerning the re-zoning of three (3) properties from Commercial (C1) to Recreation and Open Space (O1). The three affected properties are 1 North Street (PID No. 80028), 2 North Street (PID No. 80051) and 65 Woodleigh Drive (PID No. 80036). The purpose of the meeting is to also allow residents and other interested persons to make representation prior to a request being made to the Minister of Municipal Affairs to approve an amendment to the general land use map that is part of the Town’s Official Plan as it relates to the affected properties.
