The Kensington Lion’s Club are once again doing their fundraising project, the Memory Christmas Tree. The money raised this year will go 50/50 towards helping the elementary school and the breakfast program at KISH.
They will have a large tree erected in the empty lot across from the Post Office. The Lions will sell light bulbs on strings of Christmas tree lights at $5.00 per bulb, or 3 for $10.00. Each bulb will be purchased in memory of the donor’s choice. The names will be published at the tree lighting. The official tree lighting is scheduled for December 8th, at 7pm.
The Lions will be serving hot apple cider and cookies at the tree lighting. The Lions invite everyone to come and participate in the event.
You can purchase the bulbs at Town Hall, please drop in between 9-4 Monday to Friday.
