A Message from Kensington Town Council:

It is our belief that the quality of life Islanders enjoy is directly related to the quality of decision making and service delivery provided by our municipal institutions. In Kensington, we are committed to, and we strive for, excellence in all areas of service delivery. Ultimately, improving the quality of life for our residents, business owners and visitors is what Town government should be all about.

Regular meetings of Town Council are held on the second Monday of every month. In the event that the second Monday falls on a holiday, the meeting will typically be held on the next day (Tuesday). Council Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m.
Committee of Council meetings are held on the fourth Monday of every month, excluding the months of July and August. In the event that the fourth Monday falls on a holiday, the meeting will typically be held on the next day (Tuesday). Committee of Council meetings begin at 6:30 p.m.

All Council meetings are open to the public.

The Municipal Elections were held on Monday, November 5, 2018.
