The Town of Kensington is currently considering the enactment of a “False Alarm Bylaw”. Letters have been sent to Kensington businesses that are known to have alarm systems, seeking feedback on the proposed bylaw. The goal is to encourage property owners to maintain their alarm systems, and reduce the resources required by the police department in responding to repeat false alarms. The Town is requesting comments/concerns from businesses and/or property owners in town to be returned by December 14, 2016.
