The Town of Kensington is notifying businesses and residents that a convoy-style protest, is currently planned for Saturday, February 12. The protest is expected to travel through Kensington on Highway 2 from Summerside to Charlottetown.
Kensington Police Service expects the protest could cause traffic blockages along Victoria Street W and Broadway Street S between the hours of 11:30 am and 12:30 pm. Police presence will be along the route on the day of the protest to ensure the safety of businesses, residents, and travellers in the affected areas.
