Vintage Calendars

Calendars will be on sale at Town Hall, and in locations around Kensington in November 2013, just in time for the Christmas season. The calendar features twelve historic images from the streets of Kensington, and a description and an approximate location of each one. It makes a perfect gift for the history buff, long-time residents, or former residents who have moved away.

Special thanks to Joan Sinclair, for researching and designing the calendar. Joan has previously wrote and designed 125 Years Through our Eyes, the award winning photo book produced in 2012 by The Guardian, to mark its 125th anniversary of daily news service to Islanders. She’s also worked on Remembering Old Dan, by Marion Bruce, which won PEI Book of the Year in 2011, and By the Flame of the Lantern, the History of the Sisters of Saint Martha, Charlottetown, 1916-2000.
